What a week! My boys aren’t big enough to head to school yet but I swear I had sympathy emotions along with my friends as their kiddos started school for the year. When I think about starting school as a kid, I always remember such excitement. I loved fresh new school supplies, waiting for the school bus with my sisters and seeing friends I hadn’t seen all summer long. I hope my boys have a love for school.
As for today, I wanted to share a post I’ve been working on what seems like forever. I’ve loved reading mom blogs since I got pregnant with Shep. There was something so comforting reading blogs from other moms in the same life stage as me. Many of those on this list are bloggers who started around the same time I did, or other bloggers I aspired to be like! While I know there are lots of official lists out there with the “best” bloggers, I’ve always liked the ones that are authentic, honest and down-to-earth. In my opinion, good photography is important and makes the posts really stand out, but I appreciate an iPhone picture showing what real life is like and fun everyday stories. I also picked blogs that offer a mix of helpful advice (whether activities for kids, recipes, or parenting tips) and those that share the ups and downs in parenting.
Now, I know I’ve left some amazing blogs off this list. Please, please add your favorites in the comments! I hope this is a post you bookmark and share with other mamas out there looking for inspiration.
